OPENING

a window in a context.

here are gathered window samples from a very Danish concept- “kolonihave”- allotment - in their variety.
Denmark is one of the few countries in the world, where a window, as a source of light and an opening into a person’s private life, almost always stays disclosed.
a window becomes a delicate way to merge private and public lives together: for instance sitting/eating arrangements from the inside would be moved outside and placed right in front of a window, so that a person sitting outside would still have the overview over both spaces (inner and outer).

here windows (single, double, big, small, shuttered or even non-existing yet, as above) are the focal points set in a certain context.

  1. Det ser godt. Kolonihavestemning udefra og indefra og med det ikke eksisterende vindue som trofæ, allerede med samme funktion
